We are seeking an experienced Associate Art Director to join our growing team. As an Associate Art Director, you will play a key role in helping to establish the artistic vision for our projects. You will work closely with the Art Director, providing support and guidance to the art team to ensure the highest quality and consistency in art direction.
You will be responsible for collaborating with various teams including design, engineering, and production to ensure that the artistic vision is effectively communicated and implemented throughout the development process.
Key Duties Include:
- Collaborate closely with the Art Director to establish the artistic vision and direction for the projects
- Provide support and guidance to the art team, ensuring alignment with the artistic vision
- Work closely with other disciplines such as design, engineering, and production to ensure effective implementation of the art direction
- Help to refine and iterate on the art pipeline and processes to improve efficiency and quality
- Review and provide feedback on art assets to maintain consistency and quality
- Mentor and develop junior artists, helping them grow and improve their skills
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in art direction
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Senior or Lead Artist in the game industry
- Strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in art direction and visual design
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of industry-standard art tools and pipelines
- Passion for games and a deep understanding of game art principles
- Experience mentoring and developing junior artists
