Hours:

35 hours per week, hybrid working can be considered - minimum of two days per month to be worked from Head Office.

Salary:

£44,066 Per Annum

What Will You Be Doing?

We’re committed to our investment in our Data Strategy and are in the process of moving from an on-premise platform to new Data Architecture using cloud-based technologies. Our new Enterprise Data Lakehouse utilises the Microsoft Azure technology stack include Data Lake, Delta Lake, Databricks and dbt. We are specifically looking for an individual who can bring their already acquired skills in this area to our team to support the design and implementation of our cloud-based platform.

You’ll work collaboratively with other Data Engineers and Analysts, as well as colleagues from across the organisation to deliver trusted solutions that meet the Society’s information needs. As a data expert you’ll play a key role in the Society change hubs and play a pro-active role in identifying process improvements and generating new ideas that will maximise the value of data for the Society.

We embrace a culture of experimentation and constantly strive for improvement and learning. Using Agile techniques, you will regularly deliver incremental enhancements to our products. You will actively participate in design and code reviews, providing direction and mentoring to others.
