CV Screen is recruiting for an Accountant for an Accountancy firm in Dudley. The role is office based and after a successful probation period you will be allowed to work 1 day from home a week.

ROLE DETAILS

In your role as an Accountant you will work on a variety of clients from various industries and build your own portfolio. You will also be seen to assist and monitor training of more junior members of staff and therefore must have good communication skills. You will ideally have over 5 years of experience in an accounting firm.

COMPANY DETAILS:
You will join a join a well-established, supportive, and friendly Accountancy firm as an Accountant. With a HQ based in Dudley, the organisation employs about 20 staff many of whom have been part of the team for several years. You will be given the opportunity to receive study support as well as opportunity progress quickly.



REQUIRED SKILLS

The Practice Accountant will have the majority of the following experience:

• Lives locally to office based in Dudley.
• Over five years’ experience in an accounting firm
• In depth knowledge and the ability to produce statutory accounts and monthly/quarterly management accounts
• A good communicator who is able to organise their work effectively to meet given deadlines
• A strong background of client face to face meetings
• Familiarity with programs such as Sage and IRIS.
• Audit experience would be desirable.
• You can be QBE or studying towards ACCA.

SALARY:

Basic salary up to £40,000
Benefits include:

• Holiday is 32 choice days – this means bank holidays can be worked if needed. Holiday will also increase by 1.5 days every two years of service up to a maximum of 6 days.

LOCATION
Dudley (First 3 months would need to be office based – you will then be able to work 1 day from home a week after this period)
