Chief Finance Officer
Responsible to - Chief Executive
Location - Flexible
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance senior leader who can offer inspirational leadership and guidance as a key member of the leadership team at Hafod based in South Wales, with the opportunity to work flexibly and from home.

About Us
Providing housing, care and support across seven local authorities, with over 5,000 homes and a turnover of £81 million, our ambition is to transform housing, health, social care and support in order to improve the wellbeing of our customers and our communities. We aim to do this by integrating services, transforming the lives of individuals.
We provide social and affordable housing, extra care, sheltered housing, supported housing and floating support, residential care, nursing care and homecare. We are projecting to handover approximately 150 homes per annum over the next few years and have an ambitious future pipeline that will make a significant contribution to the Welsh Governments 20,000 homes target.
As a member of the Executive team, you will take shared accountability for the delivery of Hafod’s vision, mission, strategy, and behaviours.
In this role you will be accountable for the following functions at Hafod including:
Corporate finance and investments (including Treasury) Audit Development
You will play a pivotal role in implementing new systems and new ways of working for the team, shifting the focus from transactional finance tasks to a more strategic emphasis on financial business partnering and value for money.
About you
This might be your first Executive Director role, but you will have demonstrated your skills as a collaborative leader and have a successful track record in managing and delivering the functions of a financial team.
A strong focus on customer service, continuous improvement and colleagues is essential and experience of overseeing a development function would be desirable.
