Job description
Our client, NYMS Services is a small family-run organisation that owns the Pennine Care Centre.
Pennine Care Centre is a 60-bed Residential Care home providing accommodation and care for vulnerable adults who require support around Dementia and Mental Health.
They are keen to appoint aCare Coordinatorto support the Registered Manager in providing leadership to the administration, care, catering, housekeeping, laundry and maintenance functions of the service at Pennine Care Centre, Glossop, SK13
As the successful candidate, your responsibilities will include :
- Being in-charge of the day to day running of the service; supervising the senior carers and carers.
- Being responsible for the day-to-day Compliance Activities; ensuring daily records, care planning updates, MAR charts are completed to the required standard.
- Being in-charge of Compliance; conducting regular audits; Care Planning Audits, Meds audits, Infection Prevention Control audits, Safeguarding and accidents and H&S Audits.
- Providing line management support for some care managers and carers; supervising, supporting and appropriating delegation.
- Leading some shifts; administering medications and supervising carers
- Ensuring safeguarding is at the heart of service delivery; providing support in managing incidents, escalating reports and completing actions.
- Working with the management team and undertaking care duties when required to cover staff absences.
- Providing out of hours support.
- The role involves working some out of hours working
As the successful candidate, You should have:Experience of working as a Team Leader or a Deputy Manager within a care home setting.
