Job Title: Senior Work Advisor

Salary: Band 6, £17.24 per hour

Location: Knockbracken Healthcare Park, Saintfield Road, Belfast

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 9AM-5PM

Duration: 3-6 months

Job Summary:

The postholder will be a key member of the Workforce Directorate and will contribute to the achievement of the overall Directorate’s performance objectives. The postholder will have specific responsibilities in relation to a workforce area(s), providing core advice, guidance and support to Managers on a range of workforce issues, with a particular focus on attendance management and employee relations matters, as outlined below. In addition, the postholder will be expected to act as a member of the wider team in ensuring the delivery of a proactive, responsive and professional HR service to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications/Experience:

Have a relevant degree or recognised professional qualification plus a minimum of two years’ post graduate middle* management experience within a Human Resources (HR) function, providing professional advice and guidance on a range of workforce issues.

OR

Have a minimum of five years’ experience two of which must be at a middle* management level, within a Human Resources (HR) function, providing professional advice and guidance on a range of workforce issues. * Middle management will be defined as a position equivalent to AfC Band 5 salary scale.

Have, or commit to acquiring, an advanced (post-graduate) level qualification in HR.
