As the torchbearer of our clients Maintenance and Engineering teams across three sites, you'll be at the helm of driving excellence and spearheading impactful initiatives under the guidance of the Site Operations Manager. Role Summary for the Maintenance & Engineering Manager

This exciting role will be tasked to ensure maximum cost effectiveness and reliability of our clients manufacturing process and machinery and include the following duties:

• Responsible for the delivery of a sustainable maintenance programme to ensure continued function and reliability, maximising efficiency in line with best practices
• Daily manufacturing process support, development and design reviews, process efficiency improvements in relation to cost and waste reduction
• Lead and develop the engineering excellence programme
• Support machinery programming and test program activities
• Lead and coach departmental teams

Desired Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities of the Maintenance & Engineering Manager

• All industry experience considered
• Relevant Degree or Time Served Engineer within a similar role
• Multiple years’ experience within an Engineering / Manufacturing environment
• Knowledge and experience in Total Productive Maintenance is essential.
• Strong maintenance and operational experience
• Experience with combined mechanical/electrical/electronics’ systems      
• Working knowledge of statutory regulations – electrical, pressure systems and transportable gas, manual handling etc.
• Knowledge of plant equipment and services is essential.
