Job description

You will be responsible for creating and implementing fundraising strategies to facilitate our growth. This will involve identifying funding opportunities, overseeing fundraising activities, and applying for funding grants.

What will you be doing?

Key Responsibilities:

1. Grant Research and Applications: Conduct thorough research to identify potential funding opportunities from government agencies, foundations, corporations, and other grant-making entities. Develop and submit high-quality grant proposals and applications tailored to the requirements of each funding source.

2. Strategic Planning: Formulate and execute innovative fundraising strategies to meet the organisation's financial goals and operational needs.

3. Donor Engagement: Cultivate relationships with grant-making bodies and funding organisations, ensuring effective communication and stewardship to maximise grant acquisition.

4. Campaign Management: Oversee fundraising campaigns, integrating grant acquisition efforts into broader fundraising initiatives for cohesive and effective strategies.

5. Team Leadership: Collaborate with volunteers, providing guidance and support to optimise grant-seeking efforts and overall fundraising activities.

6. Reporting and Evaluation: Monitor and evaluate the success of grant applications and funding strategies, providing updates on progress in our monthly team meetings.
