UK date and time: 04-March-2024 11:45 Applicant Options New Search Login Job Details Help Terms of Use & Privacy Policy Job Details Postdoctoral Researcher in Cognitive Neuroscience Department of Experimental Psychology, Radcliffe Observatory Quarter, Woodstock Road We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Associate to join the Human Information Processing Lab headed by Prof Christopher Summerfield to investigate Human Cognitive Neuroscience. The funds supporting this project are provided by the Wellcome Trust. The post is full-time and fixed term for two years and applicants must be available to take up the post by mid-April. The post-holder will be responsible for carrying out rigorous and impactful research into the neural and computational mechanisms of human learning, and disseminating the findings within the research group, across the wider academic community, and to the general public via talks and publications. The successful candidate will hold, or be soon to complete, a PhD/DPhil in a relevant discipline (psychology, neuroscience or a related subject) with a keen interest and experience in understanding human learning. You will have excellent statistical, coding and data-handling skills with data from neuroimaging, and the ability to collect and analyse neuroimaging data is essential. As well as a demonstrable track record of research productivity and dissemination record, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to manage your own research and administrative activities, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
