This role plays an integral part of Defaqto’s success through supporting the Insight Operations Team in the timely and accurate delivery of quarterly fund and portfolio risk rating assessments, Investment and ESG Review updates anddocument management. You'll alsoinput fund and DFM information to ensure that our database of financial products, propositions, funds and portfolios is up to date and accurate.

With a focus onasset managers, you'll liaise with relevant individuals (both internal and external) to help identify the future data/information needs of Defaqto clients and work with team members to plan the collection and dissemination of relevant data andinformation. You'll also workclosely with the wider Insight Team on the development and continuous improvement of processes and procedures to ensure the relevance, completeness, accuracy and timeliness of data.

What we're looking for:

• You'll have good working knowledge of UK retail financial services and experience of working within the UK asset management and/or wealth management market
• You'll be educated to ‘A’ level standard in a mathematical, scientific, or engineering discipline or have equivalent ability demonstrated through experience.
• You'll be highly numerate and IT literate, with excellent data analysis and interpretation skills, along with the ability to learn new software applications quickly.
• You'll have good written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner.
• You're a creative thinker who isanalytical andorganised with keenproblem-solving skills and a flexible 'can-do' attitude.
• You're self-motivated, independent and proactive with a strong drive for results, whilst being a collaborative team player who can think and work cross-functionally.
