Rubix M&E are partnering with one of the world's premier production and conversion facilities, based in the heart of Suffolk, but part of a global organisation. To further strengthen their skilled and experienced team, we are seeking an Industrial Electrician to work on the installation, maintenance and removal of electrical components within the industrial and office environments of the site.
The primary focus of the role is the safe completion of routine and non-routine repairs, installations and removals of primarily electrical equipment, but also of mechanical equipment as required. You will use fixed and mobile power tools, including but not limited to drills, saws and impact drivers, along with the use of vehicles including counterbalance forklift trucks and articulated boom lifts - for which full training will be given. You will also assist in the troubleshooting of industrial electrical equipment and instrumentation, including the interpretation of basic to intermediate electrical diagrams To be considered, you will need to possess a Level 3 Diploma in electrical installation, inspection, testing certification and reporting, or equivalent. You'll have the ability to communicate well in English both verbally and in writing with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards.
