Job description
We are recruiting a Head of Faculty - Computing, ICT and Digital Media to support the Academy’s vision by leading all aspects of the work of the Computing & Digital Media Faculty, to create and deliver an innovative curriculum which meets the needs of learners and enables them to achieve outstanding success.
The Head of Computing, ICT & Digital Media role is a crucial Middle Leadership role, which will involve the strategic leadership and management of the newly formed Computing & Digital Media Faculty. The faculty will comprise of the following subjects: Digital Media (KS3), Computer Science (KS4 & KS5), Media Studies (KS4 & KS5) and the possible addition of Level 2 and Level 3 ICT courses. The applicant should be a specialist in Computer Science and will be able to teach the subject to KS5 level.
The post holder will be expected to contribute to the ethos, values, and development of the school by supervising pupils, guiding staff, and enhancing the curriculum. They will be responsible for ensuring a robust and effective curriculum is designed and supported by a clear rationale, which provides a positive learning experience for all students.

Salary Scale: MPS* / UPS + TLR 2b
