The Brockhole Halloween Experience is one of the largest and best Halloween events in the Lake District and we’re now hiring an experienced Casual Duty Manager to support our operations team and deliver an exceptional event for our visitors this October holiday.
This is a great way to earn extra cash, and you'll be paid in November. Whatsmore, there may be the opportunity to stay with us and work flexibly on a casual basis, providing additional cover such as during our peak visitor season or staff holidays.
What will I be doing?
You’ll work over October half-term, including weekends and weekdays, from approximately 9am to 7pm. This is a hands on role with supervisory Duty Manager duties and responsibilities:
• Supporting general day-to-day operations of the Brockhole site
• Working with the General Manager ensure the site is maintained and presented for the 10-day event
• Linking with department managers to ensure everything is in place and assisting as needed
• Supervising our car park teams
• Upholding our safety procedures for visitors and employees
You'll be an excellent and calm communicator with a flexible can-do attitude.

Brockhole on Windermere is located between Windermere and Ambleside on the shores of Lake Windermere in the heart of the Lake District National Park. We are a not-for-profit attraction run by the Lake District National Park Authority. All profits go towards keeping it special for future generations.
