Job description
Morgan Philips are delighted to be partnering with a prestigious Bedfordshire based organisation to hire an HR Manager who will lead and manage a professional, high quality, efficient HR service, balancing the day-to-day operational work of the department with strategic HR matters . The role will focus on maximising the effectiveness of human resources and is responsible for a full generalist remit.
Reporting to the HR Business Partner and managing a small team, you will be passionate about furthering the development of the organisations strong culture, ensuring that the core values are reflected through its people policies.
Key accountabilities
• To build and maintain a strong business partner relationship with key stakeholders.
• To embed diversity and inclusion in all aspects of the HR Department’s work.
• To ensure that the organisation complies with all current employment and immigration legislation, including safer recruitment requirements.
• To ensure compliance with regulations in relation to recruitment and employment.
• Act as first point of call for advice on ER related and change matters and queries, supporting managers and employees as required to support with a high-quality service.
Supporting the HR Business Partner with ad-hoc projects, processing and contributing to service improvements, to support with a culture of continuous improvement.
• Overseeing operational activities and the work of the team in areas such as recruitment and on-boarding, appraisals, monitoring sickness absence, probation, maternity and paternity processes and ensure the HRIS is accurate and up to date.
• Administer the annual salary review process, including annual National Living Wage increases.
• Undertake job evaluations and salary benchmarking as needed and put forward recommendations in relation to individual roles.
• Providing HR metrics and data and appropriate analysis for the leadership team.
