Mechanical Support Engineer (Rail Experience)

A role has risen for a Mechanical Support Engineer for a specialist Rail Equipment Manufacturing company.

Knowledge/Experience required for the Mechanical Support Engineer:

- Minimum 6 years Engineering experience, specifically with a good balance of general Engineering, Testing, Problem solving, Technical process writing( method statements, overhaul instructions), condition assessments
- BOM checks and sign off
- Job Pack creation
- Engineering changes; concessions; Fault Investigations and diagnosis
- Problem Solving; Creating component instructions; Test procedures; Conduct material analysis; Design Tooling
- Manage warranty investigations as required
- Produce technical reports in accordance with Company/Client requirements
- Support internal customers: Sales, Projects, Production, Purchasing, Operations, Shop-Floor, Quality

Qualifications for the Mechanical Support Engineer:

- HNC/HND

Package:

- 35/40k
- 36.5 hours per week
- 20 Days annual holiday
- Annual Bonus(pro rate on year of joining)
