Experienced Lab Technician

Store: Specsavers Gloucester 
Hours: Full time – 37.5 hours / Open to part time – minimum 3 full days (weekend working is essential)
Salary: up to £22,000 dependent on experience (pro-rata)

Experience – Previous experience working in an optical lab is essential for this role

At Specsavers, our Laboratory Technicians use the latest computer-controlled equipment and an eye for detail & accuracy, allowing them to maintain high standards maximise customer satisfaction.

With your previous knowledge of an Optical Lab, you will be part of a team responsible for preparing customer’s spectacle orders to the highest standard and be confident with the following responsibilities:

• Accurately reading lens and frame specifications from prescriptions that are received
• Setting and glazing lenses into frames ensuring attention to detail at all times
• Complete necessary minor repairs and adjustments
• Working towards agreed timeframes to meet customer expectations
