Job description

City, Chartered Accountants are a firm of accountants, tax consultants and business advisors based on Regent Street in the West End of London. 

We provide family run businesses and entrepreneurs with accounting support, taxation planning, corporate finance and strategic advice. We specialise in property, media, legal, financial services, travel agents, doctors and dentists.

We are looking for a qualified professional (ACA/ACCA) with 1-2 years of experience of IRIS to join our general practice. 

Responsibilities will include:  

- Preparation and filing of year end accounts for companies [statutory], partnerships and sole traders. 
- Preparation and filing of CT, SA & VAT returns 
- Liaising with and helping clients 
- Running monthly payroll 
- Supporting senior members of the team 

Skills: 
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
- Ability to manage different workstreams and priorities 
- Willingness to support the team 
- Able to balance priorities and manage own time 
- Ideal experience using VT/Xero although not essential
