Thanks to continued growth and new opportunities, this established leader in natural solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Ecologist to join their talented Oxfordshire team.
About the role:
As Senior Ecologist youll be providing specialist ecological input on a variety of projects whilst supporting the wider team with advice on ecological surveys, strategies and mitigation. With a wide variety of projects and a growing number of non-development clients, your wider understanding on environmental net gain and land management will be key.
This is a great opportunity to develop your management skills, as youll be line managing and assisting in the training and mentorship of junior team members, promoting a culture of trust, collaboration and development.
Salary & Benefits:
This is a full-time, permanent position working 40 hours per week, with flexible hours and hybrid working available. Salary is £35,000 - £40,000 per annum DOE, plus excellent benefits including:

About you:
To apply for this role you will need:
A minimum of 3 years UK Ecology experience, with a degree-level relevant qualification and full membership (or working towards) with CIEEM
A full UK driving license
At least one protected species license
Knowledgeable in environmental net gain and land management
Team leadership skills
Experience in being a named ecologist or accredited agent within a species mitigation licence
