Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver effective and engaging Geography lessons that align with the national curriculum

• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement cross-curricular projects and activities
• Utilize a variety of teaching resources and technologies to enhance the learning experience
• Manage behavior in the classroom and implement effective discipline strategies when necessary
• Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Geography or a related field
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Proven experience teaching Geography at primary or secondary level
• Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire students
• Effective classroom management skills
• Up-to-date knowledge of educational policies and practices
