Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Technician to join our team of automotive professionals. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional vehicle maintenance and repair services to our valued customers.

Responsibilities:

Vehicle Inspections: Perform comprehensive inspections on vehicles to assess their condition and identify any existing or potential issues.
Maintenance and Repairs: Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems in vehicles and efficiently carry out necessary repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Routine Service: Conduct routine service procedures, such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks, following manufacturer guidelines and best practices.
Diagnostics: Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot complex automotive problems and recommend appropriate repair solutions.
Parts Management: Source and order necessary parts and components, ensuring their quality and compatibility for each vehicle.
Customer Communication: Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, explaining repair recommendations, providing cost estimates, and addressing any concerns they may have.
Compliance and Documentation: Ensure that all work performed complies with industry standards and safety regulations. Maintain accurate and detailed records of services, repairs, and parts used.
Safety and Quality Assurance: Adhere to all health and safety protocols, using proper safety equipment and following standard operating procedures.

Requirements:

Qualifications: Hold a relevant qualification in vehicle mechanics (NVQ level 3 or equivalent).
Experience: Demonstrate practical experience as a Service Technician with a proven track record in diagnosing and repairing various vehicle makes and models.
Technical Skills: Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment, with a solid understanding of automotive systems and components.
Attention to Detail: Possess a keen eye for detail to carry out accurate inspections and ensure the quality of repairs.
Communication: Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
Team Player: Work collaboratively in a team environment, contributing to a positive working atmosphere.
Driver’s License: Hold a valid UK driving license.
