Deputy Hotel General Manager — REF: ADV/11599/2022/1
As Deputy Hotel General Manager, you will be expected to hit the ground running. Using your current levels of experience, transferable skills, knowledge, and background in hotel management.
We are looking to build on your current understanding of the following:
The hotel has roughly 50 hotel rooms and have a decent occupancy level through their off-peak and on-peak seasons.
They also offer multiple function rooms to facilitate their established events portfolio and core clients that like to re-use the venue.
The restaurant, functions, and dinning capacity for the hotel totals almost 200 covers, and they are serving food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
As an established hotel venue, they are well known within the local area and ideally, they are looking for someone who wants to come into the business, learn its processes, and take over the rains from the General Manager in a succession planning manner.
As an independent non-branded venue there will be some challenges and differences those larger branded group hotels, as you will need to be flexible and emotionally robust to be able to handle all aspects of the hotel. As you will be looked at as the person to take over from the current incumbent when they retire.
