HR Business Partner
At phs Group we have a great opportunity within our HR team for a HR Business Partner to support the largest area of our business, Hygiene Operations.
We are looking for someone to provide a full business partnering service to Regional Managers and Operations Centre Managers in a defined geographical area. Drive the People strategy mainly focused on Hygiene Operations. To drive performance within a geographical area through our people. To engage our depot teams and implement HR strategy, underpinned by phs values.
Key Responsibilities of the role:
- Ongoing forecasting of future requirements for Hygiene Operations and feed into the Resourcing and talent management processes
- Support the Resourcing team and bringing in quality people to the business
- Ownership of succession planning for key employees
- Ensure new colleagues are fully inducted into business
- Implement agreed training and development plans to deliver solutions and interventions that develop behaviors and skills at all levels within geographical area and deliver the requirements of the manpower plan
- Identify talent in local cluster, manage their development
- Translate phs HR strategy into practical objectives and implement into the business in specified geography
- Share knowledge of people tools, frameworks and initiatives to ensure awareness of these in the business
- Use specialist expertise and experience to ensure the business fulfils its responsibilities under employment law
- Complete ongoing People management and performance reporting via Periodic Reviews.
- Identify opportunities to drive engagement (and therefore productivity)
- Track on-going “People Measures”, identify opportunities and track performance
- Tactical HR support delivered on a regional basis as required
- Support sales presentations and contract negotiations for new business ensuring maximum return and management of Company risk
- Undertake project work to support the development of HR practices and processes
- Ensure high levels of engagement are maintained, supporting the annual engagement process and working in collaboration with depot teams to execute agreed action plans
- Ensuring support is provided in attending roadshows to underpin engagement across the geographical area

- Proven experience of delivering a face to face business partnering service in a regional, mainly blue collar, environment
- Able to deliver training face to face
- Strong analytical ability, adept at translating data into levers to drive performance
