Job description

Arts & events assistant required to start immediately for the Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council, based at the Civic Headquarters, Lagan Valley Island. This is a full time temporary post for a minimum of 3 months, the hours of work will be 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday with a pay rate of £13.18 per hour. The successful candidate will start immediately.

The main duties of this role will include assisting in the planning and preparation of events, liaise with service providers and council departments, promoting events, using social media, preparing financial reports, ensuring all Health and Safety regulations are followed.

What we need from you:

• Degree in event management, public relations, marketing or Health and Safety.
  OR
• 3 years experience in event management
