Job description
St. Luke's Hospice are a local charity providing compassionate care to people whose illnesses are no longer curable. We promote dignity in dying and empower people to make the choices they want, from the moment they are diagnosed.
Our mission is also made possible through our numerous charity shops and vital services that require products and supplies to be moved from location to location across the region. A crucial part of that logistical framework is our dedicated team of Drivers. Currently, we are in need of an experienced and dedicated Van Driver to join our transport team.
About the role
As a Van Driver at our organisation, you will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of goods to predetermined customers on specific routes, reviewing orders prior to delivery, loading and unloading van and providing exceptional customer service. You should have a driving license, experience as a van driver and excellent understanding of road safety. Good customer service skills and ability to handle physical workload are also essential.
Salary: £22,308 per year
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full-time, rotating shift pattern, Monday to Saturday
