An opportunity has arisen to work at an Ofsted Outstanding sixth form college. Wyke Sixth Form College is recognised for its educational excellence, placed in the top 5% for progression at A level and ranked the second highest provider of students to Oxbridge in the Yorkshire and Humber region. Wyke is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and inspiring teacher to join this popular and high performing department to make a difference to the lives of our students. The appointees will:

·        Be keen to embrace our culture of high standards and a have commitment to development.

·        Be a well-qualified teacher , skilled in delivering engaging lessons that draw the best performance from students.

·        Have the ability to build strong relationships with students and colleagues and understand the factors that lead to high levels of student achievement .

·         Teach on the A-Level Economics course. The ability to contribute to the A-Level and/or BTEC Business Studies courses would be advantageous . The ability to teach Accounts would also be an advantage.

There is also the possibility of extra responsibilities available supporting the Head of Subject with the running of the department.
