Our Sports Solutions sector is dedicated to serving a diverse range of sports facilities and amenity clients, working with grass roots clubs and facilities to professional sport venues. The Sport Solutions team are specialists within the cricket sector and our services include but are not limited to, irrigation solutions natural turf, artificial turf, bespoke cricket nets, earth moving and laser grading, hard landscaping, and soft landscaping.
Description:
We are looking for an experienced general sports operative that can undertake a range of tasks. The ideal person will have at least 3 years’ experience of working on specialist renovations across an array of natural turf pitches.
Responsibilities:
Sand spreading
Scarifying
Verti-draining
Grass cutting
Navigating to our multiple sites
Preparing machinery
Competent, experienced tractor operator
Experience
Knowledge of sports pitch renovations
PA1 &PA2 Spraying Certificate desirable, but not essential
Experience with natural turf maintenance
Good customer relationship
Keen eye for detail
Full drivers’ licence
Working under own supervision or within a team
Must have a valid driving licence
Competent, experienced tractor operator
Previous experience in general grounds maintenance duties
Good knowledge of Health and safety
Qualifications:
NVQ 2 in Greenkeeping / Sports (desirable not essential)
