Job description

Supporting the Head of Insight to lead a small but effective Customer Insight team, the Deputy Head of Insight will work with internal stakeholders to:

- Build a strong working relationship which is built on trust.

- gather their requirements from customer surveys and interviews and feed that into their design.

- Encourage and influence operational teams to act on previous feedback and create a clear plan to address it.

In addition, the Deputy Head of Insight will:

- Conduct and note take in customer interviews.

- Design, send and analyse online customer surveys, identifying ways to improve insight and response rates.

- Generate impactful insight reports for operational teams and strategic board meetings.

- Manage the workload of the insight team, picking up activities as required to support the overall delivery across all insight channels, flexing their workload to meet the various demands.

- Deputise for the Head of Insight as required.

There is a team of 3 Insight Managers and an insight coordinator headed up by a Head of Insight.

* Analyse, interrogate and evaluate data

* Stakeholder management

* Draft/author professional/technical documents

* Interpret professional/technical documents

* Experience of analysing and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data and using relevant software

* Experience in negotiation

* Experience of working in a customer-focused environment

* Able to adapt communication style to suit the situation and to different levels of seniority

* Team leadership
