Job description
Are you a experienced qualified nurse with an interest in providing care for patients requiring Haematology, Oncology & Chemotherapy support? Are you keen to be involved in the development of specialist services which meet our Values of Compassion, Respect, Courage, Accountability and Integrity? If, so we many have the post for you. This post can be a developmental post for an experienced Band 5 Nurse to develop into the Band 6 role within our service. If so an exciting opportunity has become available to join Centenary Wing and Chemotherapy Supportive treatments unit (CSSTU) or Lilford Ward including covering the Acute Malignant Haemato-Oncology Outreach team at Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust as a Band 6 staff nurse. The successful post holder can be employed into a band 5 position and working up to a band 6 Staff nurse role within 6 - 9 months of starting the role. This is an excellent opportunity to develop into a new specialism. The successful post holder will be based in our outpatient areas, but may be able to work across all area once training completed.
