Permanent Equine Veterinary Surgeon - Malton, North Yorkshire
We are recruiting for a Permanent Equine Veterinary Surgeon to join an equine practice in Malton, North Yorkshire.
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Equine Vet to join the largest Equine practice within the North of England.
This role is full time for 4.5 days per week, along with 1 in 5 or 6 weekends on-call. There will be a day off after working a weekend. All extra duties are either paid or are given back in lieu.
This is a mobile Equine Vet role and the Vet will be joining a team of 8 Vets (5 certifiicate holders) who have a range of abilities and specialisms.
They come fully equipped with all the mobile facilities including digital imaging modalities, shockwave, portable endoscope and gastroscope. The Vet will also have access to and the support of the fully equipped state of the art equine hospital which comprise of a highly experience team of boarded surgeons and amp medicine specialists.
They are looking for an Equine Vet who works well as both part of a team and on their own initiative.
About them:
The practice are both a first opinion mobile and hospital based equine referral practice. They provide a wide range of specialised Equine services. They comprise a large team of 26 specialist equine Vets collectively with their mobile first opinion unit and referral hospital and laboratory. They have state of the are facilities - all the diagnostic toys to treat both issues on site and within the Hospital. It is the largest Equine Hospital in the North of England.

As the largest state of the art Equine Veterinary and referral Hospital within the UK it offers state of the art equine diagnostics and services including intensive care unit, two new surgical suites, CT suite along with stabling, barn and paddock facilities to look after up to 50 horses.
