Job description

Our window and door installation team needs an organised, safety-focused member of the team to hep upgrade homes for our customers. We have a great opportunity for a Windows and Doors fitters mate to join Bromford, one of the UK’s established and leading housing associations, and a certified Great Place to Work organisation.

In this physically demanding role, you will assist with the installation and repair of windows and doors.

Working as part of a team your duties will include:

• Preparing openings and lifting heavy materials
• Installation assistance – fittings, adjustments, finishes
• Basic repairs – realigning, replacing glass, fixing jams
• Ensuring site tidiness and cleaning up debris
• Adhering to all health and safety standards

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous labouring experience
• The ability to lift heavy objects
• The ability to work at height off towers, scaffolds and platforms
• Strong attention to detail
• Responsible work ethic and punctuality
• Full, UK driving licence.

Due to the nature of the role a DBS check will be completed for the successful candidate.
