Robert Half are working exclusively with one of our best clients to find a new Senior Credit Controller. This is a vital part of the finance function where you will be reporting directly into the Financial Controller whilst also managing one direct report. If you are a Credit Controller who has proven experience in managing numerous entities, handling customer queries, and building strong customer and stakeholder relationships then this could be the role you have been waiting for! The Role

In this Senior Credit Controller role you will be responsible for (But not limited to):

• Ensure strict credit control process.
• Manage & Supervise one other credit controller (who will potentially be part time).
• Produce and maintain credit control reporting for Operations & Key Manager's.
• Chase & monitor customers for overdue balances.
• Monitor over credit limits and take appropriate action.
• Credit assessment using Credit safe.
• Payment plan negotiation with Terms & Conditions.
• On-line debt collection initiation with Thomas Higgins.
• Identify potential customer credit issues and liaise with Key Managers, Sales and Directors where appropriate.
• Accurate record keeping - updating Cargowise enquiries with all relevant information
• Update Cargowise with all relevant information for transactions in query.
• Maintain and follow through. Liaise between customer and operations for resolution.
• Escalate to Accounts supervisor/Financial Controller if necessary.
• Accurately apply customer receipts to the AR ledger.
• Accurately match customer receipts to paid invoices in the AR ledger.
• Maintain correct record keeping.
• Learn & continually develop Cargowise skills, to include Customer/organisation job billing customisation.
• Collection of all Import Duty/VAT/Disbursement invoices in line with credit terms
• Always deal with customers with respect and integrity.
• Build customer relationships to ensure best outcome for the business.
• Assist with any other tasks assigned by the Accounts Supervisor and/or Financial Controller.

This role will be based at the companies head offices near the Sunbury-On-Thames area, and the ideal candidate will be an experienced and proven Credit Controller who is looking to take on a new exciting challenge as part of an ever-growing business.

Salary & Benefits

This Senior Credit Controller role will be offering up to £40,000 per annum DOE, as well as company bonus, holiday, pension, private health-care, and further company benefits
