Person specification Combined Values Education, training and qualifications Level 3 day-care childcare qualification Level 3 in numeracy Level 3 in literacy Skills and abilities Good written and verbal communication Ability to follow instruction and to work under own imitative as necessary Ability to adapt to meet the needs of the service within a team environment Ability to work varying shifts between the hours of 7:00am - 6:00pm Monday to Friday Attendance at staff meetings outside normal hours Desirable Qualifications Paediatric First Aid Food H&H Knowledge and Experience Demonstrate post qualification experience in a nursery setting with children aged three months to five years. Experience of contributing to daily planning and undertaking observations Good knowledge of child care development ands an awareness of children's needs Knowledge of the Curriculum for Wales
