Senior AWS Platform Engineer

Location: Cheltenham / Remote – 2-3 days per week in Cheltenham

Salary: £70,000-£95,000

SC CLEARANCE

This role requires SC clearance and in future will require DV clearance. Upon joining Cloudscaler, we will undertake SC clearance checks so you must be eligible to pass SC clearance and, ideally, DV clearance.

What we’re looking for

We are looking for Senior AWS Platform Engineers with AWS Landing Zone experience who have built, tested packaged, deployed and operated enterprise-scale AWS platforms and platform tooling.

We are looking for Senior Engineers who have experience of building AWS Landing Zones with a strong understanding of the benefits to our customers of using a centralised platform, along with understanding some of the common challenges.

What you’ll be doing

You will be working closely with our customers’ senior stakeholders, leading them through complex cloud transformations, using your experience and expertise to deliver best-in-class AWS platforms, operating models and security models.

• Working with a wide range of AWS services to build best-in-class solutions for our customers
• Building AWS resources using Terraform
• Building solutions to mitigate some of the key security risks that are present when operating in the cloud
• Operating cloud platforms at scale within highly regulated environments
• Working with continuous integration / continuous delivery pipelines
