Hays are recruiting a Digital Marketing Executive on behalf of a global engineering company in Cookstown. This is a great opportunity to join an innovative international company with a passion for sustainability.

Your new role
As Digital Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for:
• Creating and executing monthly content calendars for social media channels.
• Oversee, track and improve the social media channels and keep abreast of the current social media landscape
• Designing and executing regular e-mail marketing campaigns using marketing software and analyse and reporting on the campaign performance and KPIs
• Provide data analysis and ongoing digital analytical reports using various insight tools
• Collaborate with Manager to create and execute digital marketing campaigns to support the annual events calendar across all regions
• Manage the website and regularly updating content using the CMS and implementing the digital content marketing strategy
• Assist management in managing and delivering webinar activity across all regions
• Work collaboratively with the wider marketing team to deliver and implement digital marketing campaigns on time and on budget
• Support the design and delivery of quarterly content and digital marketing plans
• Provide regular evaluation and assessment on the return on investment for various digital marketing activities across the year, providing reports as required
• Track competitor activity online, especially across social media channels, providing regular reports to the marketing team, providing regular reports to the marketing team
• Conduct research into the industry and analyse data on customers and market segments that would help in the development of global sectoral brand plans

What you'll need to succeed
• Degree qualified in Business, Marketing, English or a related subject, desirable if you are certified in digital marketing or working towards a qualification from a recognised body such as CIM or DMI.• 3+ years experience in a similar digital marketing role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience creating and managing engaging content for various social media channels.
• Familiar with Canva or graphic design software
• Experience of creating, executing and analysing email marketing campaigns.
• Experience using CMS to update web content.
• Experience using a CRM system to keep customer and prospect data up to date
• Experience using data and analytics software such as Google Analytics to produce reports.
• Demonstrable organisational skills and the ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven record of identifying and implementing process improvements and ability to collaborate and influence across different departments.
• You will be detail-oriented and accurate, and work efficiently and meet deadlines. You will be self-motivated and proactive and open to learning and adapting to new situations, as well as creative and resourceful at problem-solving.

Desirable:
• Experience with digital advertising systems such as Google Ads, Bing Ads, LinkedIn Ads and Facebook Ads.
• Understanding of core digital marketing concepts such as SEO, content marketing, link building, email marketing, digital PR and PPC & display advertising.
• Experience using SEMRush or Ahrefs.
• Experience of using the Adobe Creative Suite and video editing software such as Premiere Pro, CapCut or InShot.
• Experience of working with webinar software such as BigMarker, Zoom or Go To Webinar.
• You speak a second language

What you'll get in return
