KS1 / Primary Teacher

Daily Pay: £150 - £200
Location: Southampton
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time

 


GSL Education Southampton is seeking a  KS1 / Primary Teacher for a school located in the  Southampton  area. The school requires an experienced professional who has the passion and determination to work with children. The selection of applicants will be based on a trial and interview with the school.

 

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver creative and engaging lessons tailored to diverse learning styles
  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration
  • Implement effective classroom management strategies to create a conducive learning atmosphere
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development and well-being
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and best practices
  • Create a safe and supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to express themselves and take risks
 

 
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree/Master’s Degree
  • Teaching Certification ( QTS /PGCE)
  • In-depth knowledge of the primary school curriculum and teaching methodologies
  • Patience, adaptability, and a genuine love for education
  • Ability to craft engaging and inclusive lesson plans

  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
  • Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
