Complex Care Specialist
Location: Lincoln, Lincolnshire
Salary: £75- £90 per Day
Start Date: Immediate Start Required
Contract Type: Full-time
We are seeking a versatile and experienced Complex Care Specialist to join our team of educators in Lincoln . As a Complex Care Specialist , you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to secondary school students immediately.
Responsibilities:
- Join a dynamic team dedicated to supporting students with complex needs on a one-to-one basis.
- Provide tailored assistance to secondary school students in Lincoln , ensuring their individual needs are met.
- Collaborate with teaching staff and external professionals to create personalised learning plans.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for students with diverse needs.
- Utilise a range of strategies and resources to promote academic progress and social development.
- Adapt quickly to the evolving needs of students, demonstrating flexibility and creativity in your approach.
- Offer emotional support and encouragement to students, helping them build confidence and resilience.
- Document progress and communicate effectively with parents, carers, and colleagues.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills in supporting students with complex needs.
Requirements:
- Experience working with students with complex needs in a school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the education and well-being of young people.
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
- Relevant qualifications or willingness to undergo training in areas such as autism awareness or behavioural management.
- Have a DBS registered with the update service.
