Adult Social Worker - 4 years (Grade I)

Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Adult Social Worker to join our team. As an Adult Social Worker, you will provide critical support and advocacy for adults facing challenging circumstances. This is a Grade I position, suitable for candidates with 4 years of relevant experience.

As an Adult Social Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals in need. Your role will involve assessing the needs of clients, developing care plans, and coordinating appropriate services to ensure their well-being. Additionally, you will collaborate with other professionals, such as psychologists, healthcare providers, and community organizations, to provide comprehensive support and guidance.

Responsibilities
Conduct assessments and determine the needs of adults requiring social work interventions. -
Develop and implement care plans to address identified needs, ensuring a holistic approach to support. -
Advocate for clients' rights and best interests, collaborating with other professionals and organizations as necessary. -
Provide individual and group counseling, addressing issues such as mental health, substance abuse, and domestic violence. -
Conduct regular monitoring and evaluation of client progress and adjust care plans as needed. -
Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless integration of medical and social services. -
Promote community integration and empowerment by facilitating access to educational, vocational, and recreational resources.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field. -
Valid state social work license or certification. -
2-4 years of experience in adult social work or a related field. -
Strong knowledge of legal and ethical principles related to social work practice. -
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. -
Ability to work effectively with diverse populations. -
Proficiency in utilizing technology for documentation and record-keeping. -
Experience with crisis intervention and conflict resolution. -
Ability to work autonomously and effectively manage a caseload. -
Familiarity with community resources and available social services. -
Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current on best practices. -
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Hours Per Week: 36.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:30
Pay Per Hour: £25.64
Location: Barnet, Hertfordshire
