Job description
What you will do in your working day
- Supporting Safety & Assurance Managers / Lead Safety & Assurance Engineers
- Undertaking Systems Safety activities and assessments
- Contributing to the development of safety assurance cases
- Working in multidisciplinary project teams to identify and manage hazards and risks
- Monitoring of compliance against legislation and regulation
- Development of the NATS Safety Management System
- Production and analysis of safety performance reports
This is a three and half year programme gaining experience working on technical or operational projects alongside a part time MSc in Aviation Safety Management, Risk and Regulation Professional level 7 Apprenticeship. The training you will be getting
- You’ll need to have achieved a minimum of 2:2 in a numerate degree (which could be scientific, technical, aviation or business oriented) within the last 2 years or be on track to graduate in 2024
- Fully funded Master’s Degree provided by Cranfield University
- Opportunity to study for a fully-funded post-graduate professional qualification
- On successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will be appointed to a substantive grade in the Air Traffic Control Engineering career path
