Position: Wood Machinist / Joiner
Location: Kidderminster
Salary: Up to £13.50 ph (depending on experience)
Hours: Days (Monday-Friday)
Company Overview:
A reputable company in the Kidderminster area is seeking a Wood Machinist / Joiner to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating woodworking machinery and tools to produce high-quality components and contributing to the assembly and installation of finished products.
Key Responsibilities:
Operating a variety of woodworking machinery such as Band saws, Edge Banders, CNC Machinery
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications to produce accurate components.
Selecting and preparing materials for machining and assembly.
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
Collaborating with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Wood Machinist, Joiner, or similar role.
Proficiency in operating woodworking machinery and hand tools.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
FLT License desirable
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
