Job description

Applicants must be practising Sikhs experienced in non-pastoral work. One vacancy.
Responsibilities will involve assistance in preparing parshad and langar, serving in langar area, keeping temple premises clean and secure, katha and kirtan.
Must be disciplined, humble and pleasant to assist in serving the congregation. Food, accommodation and utilities are provided by the Temple under contract terms if required by the successful applicant. Contract will be temporary for up to 2 years and meets national minimum wage rules. Weekly hours up to 35 (morning and evening katha/kirtan performances according to demand).

Location of work will be temple premises at 200-204 Wolverhampton WV10 0AL. The employer (Guru Nanak Satsang Sikh Temple) claims an exception under the Equality Act 2010.
