Optical Assistant role Maidenhead, basic up to c.24,000 plus bonus c.2,500, independent, full or part time.

This well established independent practice is looking for an Optical Assistant to join their friendly team of optical professionals in Maidenhead.

With a focus on specialist clinics and providing a high level of patient care, this practice is a fantastic opportunity for those wanting to move into more of a clinical setting in a friendly work environment.

For those looking to progress in their career, this practice can also offer training and has put staff through the dispensing optician course in the past.

Key Duties

• Dispensing high end frames. NB, This is a busy independent practice so all applicants must already be confident in their dispensing skills
• Work with enthusiasm and care in high quality practice environment as reflected by current one hour test times, 80%+ designer products being dispensed and excellent local reputation
• General working hours are 10am - 6pm with options to work three to five days per week. NB, Regular Saturdays are essential for this position but no Sundays required
• Offer general support to the business owners and other team members to assist the smooth running of day to day practice operations

Package and Benefits

• Base salary up to 23,000 depending on experience
• Bonus Scheme

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

• Minimum 1 year experience in optics
• Right to work in UK
