Job description
Siamo Group are looking to recruit a logistics team leader on a permanent basis for our client in Hinckley, Leicestershire
Key duties are:
1)To support health, safety and environmental action
2)To consistently achieve the quality standards as determined by the customer and adhering to the company’s quality procedures and standards, thereby ensuring continued IATF 16949 registration.
3)To constantly monitor and analyse performance and implement continuous improvements.
4)To maximize efficiency of operations via adherence to standardised work, practical problem solving, continuous improvement and plan, do, check & act methodology.
5)To devise and maintain a continuous training and development plan.
6)To constantly improve and develop the manufacturing team to ensure good team working and therefore maximizing the resource focusing on consistently achieving the daily production operations targets.
7)To support the development and maintenance 1 line TPM.
8)To liaise with all customers, externally and internally as required.
9)Preparation, monitoring and analysis of agreed KPI’s.
10)To challenge current convention.
11)To carry out any other duties, relevant to the post which may arise.
Knowledge / Experience required:
1.Knowledge of automotive industry.
2.Man management skills (inc. Disciplinary, Performance monitoring)
3.Knowledge of metal forming (inc. tubes) & assembly work.
4.Previous experience of using business operating systems
.5.Logistics experience
Hours of work:
Mon - Thu 0800-1700
Fri - 0800-1430
