Allen & York Ltd
Location
Brighton, East Sussex | United Kingdom
Job description
Allen & York are delighted to be working with one of the UK's leading Tier 1 contractors who offer construction services to both public and private sectors across a range of markets as they look to hire a Social Value Coordinator to join their growing Team in the Southern Home Counties.
Working with passionate, ambitious and hardworking Social Value professionals, you will ideally be based in the Brighton area as the office is centrally based in the region (although alternative offices are offered) and you'll be a combination of office and site based. You'll work on a variety of projects, from education and hospitals to residential so if you have previous construction experience, that would be ideal but it's not essential…as long as you're a quick learner. You will be working closely with the Social Value Manager to deliver a range of social value activities and create a compelling narrative, using a range of social media content and material for the website. As such, you'll be adept at using Microsoft Office to prepare presentations, collate and analyse data and draw conclusions to feed into material. In addition, you'll be facilitating education and community engagement activities, you'll be identifying social value developments by keeping abreast of industry trends and best practice and you'll source information required for tender submissions, including local community groups and employability strategies. With a strong culture and values, the company is a super place to work - they're inclusive, collaborative and work hard, but have fun. So, if this sounds like the kind of organisation you'd like to join and develop your career, please contact [email protected] . You will need a full, clean driving licence and be willing to travel within the Southern Home Counties (Surrey, Sussex and Kent). About us: Allen & York have been matching purposeful people with purpose-led organisations for 30 years. We partner with our clients and candidates on roles that build an understanding of climate change, promote sustainability and create inclusive and responsible organisations, working towards a sustainable world for us all. Committed to inclusiveness in the workplace, we aim to increase diversity across all areas and therefore welcome applications from all qualified candidates, regardless of their ethnicity, race, gender, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, age, or whether or not they have a disability. Let's help build a better world, together. #J-18808-LjbffrJob tags
