Flexible work available for experienced Care Assistants looking for nights in the Chesterfield area!

We are looking for care assistants with good levels of previous experience of working nights within a care home. If you are a patient, caring and compassionate individual that prefers night work then we would love to hear from you….

You will be working in a purpose-built and modern care home within Chesterfield. Working with a friendly and experienced team you will assistant with the care of 65 residents with various age-related conditions such as Dementia, Alzheimer’s as well as physical disabilities.

You will have access to carefully tailored care plans to ensure that the residents under your care receive the support that they need throughout the night. You will be responsible for responding to care buzzers promptly during the night and aiding as required. Some residents also require repositioning during the night to ensure that their comfort and well-being is maintained.

Confidence with the use of hoists and other mobility equipment is required and the ability to connect with the people under your care.

To apply for this role you must;
- Have referenceable work history
- Hold in-date mandatory training certificates (inc. moving and handling, safeguarding vulnerable adults and infection control)
- Hold an enhanced DBS certificate dated within the past 12 months or registered on the update service.
- Have a minimum of 3 months paid UK work experience working within a care setting.

If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!

This role offers ongoing work on a week by week basis

You will be working from 19:00 to 07:00 on various days throughout the week.

You will be paid £11.50 per hour
