As a Car/Van Driver, your primary responsibility will be to transport goods and materials efficiently and safely between various locations. Your role will be integral in ensuring timely delivery and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Safely load, transport, and deliver goods and materials in a timely manner
- Plan efficient routes to optimize delivery schedules and minimize travel time
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure roadworthiness
- Adhere to all relevant driving laws and regulations, ensuring compliance at all times
- Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with customers at delivery points
- Communicate effectively with the team, reporting any issues or delays promptly
Qualifications:- Valid category B driver's license with no more than 6 points
- Proven experience as a Car/Van Driver would be advantageous
- Strong knowledge of local road networks and traffic regulations
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
This temporary position offers a competitive pay rate ranging from £10.50 to £11.50 per hour, depending on experience and performance.
