About the Role

Connex Education is working with a The Kingsmead School based in Derby who are recruiting for a SEND Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time basis.

About the school

As a Special School and a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU), we offer a variety of specialist provision from Reception to Year 11.They are looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to support students with their educational journey and provide a safe space for all students to reach their full potential.

Assignment Details

This SEND TA role is to start after February half-term and is an ongoing assignment, Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 3:30PM.

Person Specification

• Have experience of supporting pupils with Special Needs, either in a school or a similar setting.
• Be willing to provide personal care.
• Be confident in working with challenging behaviour.
• You must have a current enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to provide a new one.
