About

Our client is a full-service events and exhibitions agency, with over 10 years’ experience providing full exhibition builds, custom build stands, graphics and exhibitor enhancements.

They currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Designer, to join the team.

You will work on a variety of projects within the events and exhibition industry, supporting with mid-level to high-level exhibition design. This will include 2D and 3D design work, and detailed working and production drawings.

Job Role

Oversee the development and delivery of visual assets including 3D visuals, 2D CAD planning, detailed working and production drawings, art working PDFs, bespoke digital documents, images, infographics and social posts

Manage external freelancers and a team of in-house designers

Act as a mentor, continuously upskilling the team to meet the highest standards

Collaborate with colleagues and clients, to develop designs which suit all budgets and locations

Present designs either in person, video link or electronic transfer

Interpret the clients’ briefs and feedback accordingly

Liaise with show organisers and clients around the world, to understand regulations and H&S requirements

Successfully managing the relationships with all stakeholders, internal and external

Skills and Experience

Exceptional creative skills and hands-on experience of 3D and 2D design, art working and editing tools

Full proficiency in the use of AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite

Outstanding technical skills and knowledge of constructing complicated, multi-level structures

Ability to show the full range of design processes, from low to high budget projects

Strong interpersonal skills and able to communicate effectively at all levels

Collaborative and able to share designs with others and take on constructive feedback

An Audience-focused and insights-led approach to design

Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills

Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

Logical and methodical

Flexible and able to work additional hours if required
