Job description
As a kitchen manager, you will be essential in supervising the day-to-day activities of the kitchen and guaranteeing its effectiveness, quality, and adherence to safety and health regulations. A competent leader with exceptional organizational abilities, culinary knowledge, and team management skills is needed for this role.
Tasks required by this job includes:
• Assist other chefs with all facets of food service, everyday kitchen tasks, and personnel management.
• Select the menu items and standards for the food and beverages that will be served during regular business hours.
• Discuss the client's requirements for special events.
• Examine how well the food and beverages at the establishment are prepared.
• To prevent overusing or wasting products, be careful to keep an eye on and make effective use of available resources.
• Ensure that ingredients, quantities, and menu items in recipe books are up to date.
• Ascertain, foresee, and resolve any issues pertaining to staff, stock, and systems.
