Music Secretary

We seek to appoint a School Music Secretary. This role will involve providing secretarial support for a busy Music Department, plus include work for the Drama, LAMDA and MusicShare Departments. It will involve various administration tasks including support for the schools Visiting Music Teachers, exam co-ordination and stewarding and helping to organise the various department events, along with
Experience of working in a school would be advantageous, but is not a requirement. Experience in a musical setting or being able to read music or any such skill, is not a requirement. Rather, the successful candidate must have excellent secretarial skills and be familiar and competent with different Microsoft IT packages. You will need to have excellent organisation and planning skills, and the ability to work flexibly within this very busy and varied role. All secretarial staff are required to support the administrative function across the whole school as necessary.
This role is a full time, term time only role. The hours of work are 8am to 4pm.
We are looking for the right candidate to fill this role to continue to deliver the excellent education upon which the school prides itself, as reflected in the most recent inspection report.
