We sell predominantly through distributors (B2B) across the UK and USA, working closely with their teams to drive enquiries and convert their customers to Flexi-Hex. These partnerships have resulted in renowned brands including Brewdog, Moonpig and Laphroaig using Flexi-Hex as part of their wider packaging solutions. And the journey has just begun…
The Role
We're on the lookout for a go-getter salesperson to join the team and help us up-our-game working alongside UK distributors. You'll be all about hustling for new business, nurturing and growing our current accounts while collaborating with the wider Flexi-Hex team to fine-tune our go-to-market strategy.
Key duties:
- Work closely with our distributors to convert new customers as well as maintain and grow current accounts
- Build a healthy sales pipeline of repeat orders and new opportunities that can be reported on weekly
- Bring innovative thinking to the table and collaborate with the marketing team to devise standout strategies in a busy packaging marketplace, ensuring our brand remains top-of-mind for our valued distributors
- Effectively support individuals of varying seniority levels and personality types with both kind (yet assertive) and transparent communication
- Own all B2B inbound emails and enquiries assigned to you efficiently
- Confidently attend in-person meetings, account reviews, sales pitches and training with our partners across the UK
- Have a commercial mindset to drive revenue as well as margin, ensuring all sales are contributing to profitability
- Keep our CRM and systems up to date with a suitable level of information
- Manage customer service related issues including problems with orders, pricing, deliveries and other queries
About You
- You have worked within a B2B sales environment previously (minimum 3 years)
- You are curious when speaking to customers and love to learn
- You are tenacious in driving sales in a target-driven environment
- You are good with numbers and have great attention to detail
- You enjoy converting new business as much as relationship and account management
- You are self-motivated but also love working within a small team
- You have a can-do attitude and are solution focussed
- You have a confident personality to build friendly rapport with customers quickly
- You enjoy working flexibly, be it in the office, out in the field or at home
- You have a love of the outdoors and protecting our planet for generations to come
